Spring is coming–Believe it or Not!

Spring is coming! How do I know this? I am now creating jewellery with gemstones such as aquamarine, rose quartz, pale green jade, yellow citrine, white quartz, amethyst. Are these not spring colours?
The other reason that I know spring is coming is that I am having a SPRING OPEN HOUSE ON MARCH 6TH, 7TH AND 8TH. (check the events page for times). My studio will be open and my new spring collection will be on display. I am doing some work with copper and have designed an absolutely dynamite necklace with green turquoise and copper chain. There will be a few other pieces with this gorgeous metal. Sterling silver is still my favourite but copper is also enticing.
My collection is featuring earrings that are larger and bolder in keeping with the latest fashion trends. As well there is an excellent selection of long necklaces in a chain style and embellished with gemstones pearls and sterling. I usually design this type of necklace so that it can be worn in several different ways.
On the same dates as my Open House, Scott Barnim Pottery (15 Park Street East, Dundas, Ontario) is having its yearly TULIP SALE (no tulips sold just pottery). Scott decorates his studio with tulips and offers a 15% discount to offset sales taxes. Just a lovely spring tradition.
