In November, I was really glad to have been a part of the Mac Fair at McMaster University Museum of Art in Hamilton. There were 24 artisans in the gallery and over 1400 people in attendance during a 3 day event with free admission. Jude Levett produced a well organized show. A bonus for artisans as it makes everything so much easier and less stressful. The staff of the gallery were superb! They, along with Jude provided a lot of help during the course of the event so that everything ran smoothly. My sales were good I am happy to say and I look forward to this fair next year. I will be part of the Carnegie Gallery’s Small Works exhibit again this year. The exhibit runs from December 1 to 30 and features the wares of many artists. A great opportunity to find that perfect Christmas gift. I have bracelets, earrings and necklaces available for sale. The gallery is located at 19 King St. W. in Dundas Ontario. Opening reception is December 6th. Unfortunately I won’t be there as I will at my studio during my own Christmas Open House. I will have many new pieces available. The Beyond the Valley Studio tour in October was very successful for me and so I find myself working hard to increase my inventory. I have recently found some exciting new stones such as white agate drusy. Don’t know What it is? Come to the Open House and see!!
